Thanks to Gizmodo, now we can see the new Google Search Interface whithout signing for any BETA program. One would have to

1. Go to Google
2. Enter the below given code in the address bar

To activate Office 2010 Beta after installation, follow these steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Word 2010 Beta and click on the “File” tab. This will take you to the Backstage view. Next click “Help” in the set of tabs on the left.

  2. Click “Change Product Key” on the right side of the screen.

  3. Enter the Multiple Activation Key (MAK) displayed above. make sure that the box to “activate automatically or restart the app to activate using the activation dialog box.” is checked (which is by default)

  4. That’s all you need to do. Entering the MAK key in Microsoft Word 2010 Beta automatically activates all the Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta applications. Click on the “File” tab to return to the Document view. Restart the open Office applications to complete the activation.

Rollup Update 1 for Exchange Server 2007 SP 2 has been released!

Rollup Update 1 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) is out now. Around 3 months back Microsoft released Exchange 2007 SP2 and now we have a Rollup Update for the Exchange 2007 SP2.

Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) resolves issues that were found in Exchange Server 2007 SP2 since the software was released. This update rollup is highly recommended for all Exchange Server 2007 SP2 customers.  For a list of changes that are included in this update rollup, see KB971534.

This update rollup does not apply to Exchange Server 2007 Release To Manufacturing (RTM) or Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1). For a list of update rollups applicable to Exchange Server 2007 RTM or Exchange Server 2007 SP1, refer to the Knowledge Base article KB937052.

The public BETA for Office 2010 is out today with the build number of 4536.1000. It was launched today i.e. on the 2nd day of the PDC (as expected). 😉
Its available in 2 editions, 32-bit and 64-bit. The OS needed for installing Office 2010 are:

    Office 2010 Beta Available for MSDN and TechNet Plus Users

    The Beta of Office 2010 Beta along with Office Web Applications are now up on MSDN and TechNet Plus. TechNet Plus and MSDN subscribers can now download and evaluate Office 2010 Beta before the official public availability which is on November 18th. The most significant change in this Beta Build from the Technical Preview is the new installation procedure for test versions of Office 2010 SKUs, Upload Center, modified version of Backstage view and new refreshed icons for all Office products. Office 2010 Beta is available in both 32 and 64-bit flavors.
